Degrassi Star Jahmil French Dies at 29 (EW, 2021)

Entertainment Weekly reported the tragic passing of Jahmil French, known for playing Dave Turner on Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2009 to 2013. He was 29.

French’s death was confirmed by his representative and mourned by fans and castmates alike. His powerful performances and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on the series and its viewers.
