Hi everybody!
So, this is my first EVER official blog.
I really don’t even know what exactly a blog is—or if there is even a definition for such a random word!
But anyway, I am going to fill you in on my week, my life, myself!
First thing’s first, I should let you know that I am kind of tired today because I was filming Degrassi all week and we had a lot of night shoots. I just found out that the crew didn’t wrap until 5 a.m. last night (or morning, or whatever)! Thankfully, I wasn’t in that scene. I am the kind of person who functions best on a non-nocturnal schedule.
I figured I should give you a heads up in case you’re reading this and thinking, “Wow, this girl sounds kind of scattered.”
It has been a pretty great week though, starting off with a fun weekend. I had a barbeque on my roof and my friends and I stayed up all night (ha ha ha, I am already a hypocrite because I said I need my sleep) and we went to the beach in the morning. The weather on Saturday was amazing. Perfect Miriam weather: sunny and 27 degrees.
I am looking forward to tomorrow night too, because two of my friends have birthday parties, and as fate may have it, they are having them at the same place.
I hate it when I have two invites and can’t decide which one I’ll have to turn down. But this time things worked out great. I’ll take a camera and hopefully get some cute shots to show you.
Oh, and also coming up on my calendar is the CTV “upfronts” where cast members from various shows on the network come together and sort of have a meet-and-greet party type deal. That is happening Monday and I just got a very pretty dress to wear.
I am definitely a girl when it comes to getting dressed up. I love, love, love any excuse to wear something flirty and girly and do myself up. It is such a fun process for me. The fashion shoot that I did for Fashion 18 was a dream shoot for me because all the clothes were feminine and fun, not to mention great hair and makeup.
Okay, wow, I just realized what time it is. I am shooting today and I need to shower before work.
That is a great perk of this job. Showing up to work straight out of the shower—wet hair, no makeup, and leaving work done. Ha ha.
K, I gotta stop talking about work…I’m just blah blah blah… and now I am rambling so I should REALLY go.
