July is a big month for birthdays in my world. Several of my closest friends were born in July, as well as myself.
I was born July 26, so I’m a Leo, and that astrological sign fits me to a T. I am loyal, passionate and confident, but like a lion I can get impatient and I can roar! Ha ha. Do you feel like you fit your astrological sign?
Birthdays are great, especially if it’s not your own! I find that there is always this strange sort of pressure put on birthdays and you feel almost obligated to have a good time—which is great, but you run into trouble if you set your expectations in some far off universe.
Thankfully, my party this year was soooooooooo fun! Almost all of my favourite people were able to come by and even though it rained a little, nobody cared!
My friend’s birthday was last weekend and that was great, too! We went for a very posh dinner at this upscale restaurant and then completely shifted gears and saw a few friends play at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Later this week, a different friend and I are going to have a belated birthday for each other because we were not able to get together on the day (hers is only two days before mine) but we’ll keep it low key. Just dessert, I think!
Anyhow, I gotta run.
