Playing for Team Summer
So this week has been a fun and busy one so far.
At Degrassi, we did our “gallery shoot” where we take all the photos we will be using for season six publicity. It is so fun to do shoots like that. It is totally different from a day of filming though, and it is a great way to change things up.
Also in the world of work, I shot an interview that Stefan Brogren (who plays my stepdad, Snake) headed up. It really brought back some memories. I cannot believe that I have been playing Emma for six YEARS! Time flies…
In the world of fun outside work, I got to see Hedley perform at MTV and chat with the cute but CRAZY guys! It was an awesome performance and you could feel the energy coming from Jacob (lead singer). They rock! Are you guys Hedley fans at all?
Apart from that stuff, I have been spending as much time as possible outside. I have said it before and I will surely say it again, but can I just mention how much I LOVE summer?
Are you guys summer or winter people? I have a few friends who are full-on winter types—from activities like skiing to clothing, like comfy sweaters and cute jackets. But no doubt I am playing for team summer—I love swimming and little dresses!

This weekend should be a fun one. Not only is it Canada Day (HAPPY BIRTHDAY my darling country!) but there are a few great concerts and parties that I may hit up. Maybe I’ll even go see fireworks.
Any big plans for Canada’s birthday?
LOL…maybe I’ll get a birthday cake, too, just for fun! An ice cream cake…
