Manny: Hey Em, can I talk to you?
Emma: About what?
Manny: Well, I know we’ve had some problems this year and I just wanted to say I’m sorry. Also, I know how Sean’s been acting lately and if anything happens… I want you to know I’m here for you.
Emma: Apology accepted. Thanks Manny. I really appreciate it. Hey…while we’re chatting-did you and Craig really…?
Manny: Really what?
Emma: Well you know…
Manny: Some things just need to be left in the past… I’m sooo over Craig now!
Emma: Sorry…I can totally relate. I tried to give Sean another chance and we even got back together, but he is such a jerk… you know what? I may just ask Chris out when I see him in class…
Manny: You go girl!
Emma: Do you really think it’s a good idea?
Manny: You might want to break things off with Sean first…
Emma: That’s the point… I wanna tick off Sean.
Manny: Man, that dude’s a ticking time bomb anyway… be careful, that’s a whole lot of bad karma coming your way!
Emma: (laughing) Or is it coming Sean’s way?
Manny: You do have a point.

Ellie ran into shop class. Her class had been switched. She sighed and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. “Shop..” she murmured, tracing the wood with her finger. Sean and Craig both looked up.
“Ellie?!?” they both declared quickly, shooting glances at each other, then back at her.
“Ok! Ok!” the shop teacher said, as Ellie opened her mouth. “Ms. Nash’s schedules have been switched. Leave her be. No big deal… get to work!”
Sean looked at Craig… and suddenly felt a surge of happiness. He smiled, and his cheeks went pink. Craig looked at him and grinned “What’s up with you…?” He nudged Sean easily.
“Nothin’ man!” Sean replied, focusing on a hammer nearby, as if it was the most fascinating thing in the world.
Craig looked at Sean… “How’re you doing on grades worth?”
“Well, mom” he replied smiling “I’m failing every class. And Jay got in huge trouble for breaking an entering last week…”
Craig laughed, “No offense, but he deserved it.”

Ellie: Oh look, there’s your boyfriend…
Ashley: What? I don’t have a boyfriend…
Ellie points over at Jimmy (who is talking to Hazel)
Ashley: Grow up El… me n Jimmy are just friends (laughs)
Ellie: Yea, all outta nowhere you and Jimmy become the best of friends and you smile a lot more…
Ashley: Because I have no drama to hold me back
Ellie: Fine… Hazel’s been going after him for a while now, you better figure out if you wanna get into that game too…
Ashley rolls her eyes and Ellie laughs at her.
Scene moves to Spinner, Craig, and Marco talking.
Spinner: (walking up to Craig and Marco) Dude she did it again.
Craig: Who? Did what? Huh?
Spinner: Don’t act all innocent… I’m talking about Paige… she’s hanging out with JT… again…
Marco: C’mon, they’re just friends…
Spinner: (turns to Craig) It’s your fault… if you never got with Manny, JT would be after her instead of my girlfriend…
Craig: (laughs) Right… think about this Spin… ‘you say’ JT’s after your girlfriend…
Spinner nods in agreement.
Craig: Then what are you doing here?
Spinner: (confused) Talking to you man…
Marco: He means go get her back… duh!

*JT walks into the doors of Degrassi after a long summer*
JT: Hey ladies
Paige: Haze, is it me or does JT look different?
Hazel: Ya he does look hott!!
*Manny walks up*
Manny: What’s up guys?
Paige: Nothing (sighs)
Manny: Well see you later, it’s a new school year – I’m gonna try to patch things up with Emma.
Hazel: Ok bye(sighs)
Paige: He’s so dreamy
Hazel: I know (sighs)
*They both walk up to JT’s locker where he’s talking to Craig*
Craig: Hey Paige
Paige: Hey JT
JT: Uhhh…Craig said hi Paige.
Paige: Oh, hey Craig
Hazel: Hey JT you look…Hottt
JT: Uh thanks Hazel. You look nice, too.
Craig: So Paige, wanna catch a movie later?
Paige: Ummm… I’m busy, sorry.
Craig: (walking away) Bye Paige
Paige: Ya bye, So JT are you busy tonight?
JT: Actually I’m taking Hazel to the Dot tonight.
Paige: What?
*Paige walks away angry*
~Bell rings~
Hazel: So JT, will you walk me to my class
JT: Sure
*He takes her in the class, all the girls stare at him*
Hazel: Bye JT
JT: See ya
