Adamo plays Marco on Degrassi, the dude who stormed on to the scene by winning the school breakdancing contest. Adamo hasn’t mentioned whether or not he can actually breakdance, but from what he told some N users it’s clear that he loves what he’s doing as much as anyone you’ll ever meet.
ladybug88: How old are you?
Adamo: I’m 16 years old.
Kittypaw: What are your hobbies?
Adamo: I like to go dancing and clubbing. I also watch a lot of movies and relax with friends. I also love going to theater performances with my mom. But when I’m not doing all that, I go rollerblading and biking, and I love talking on the phone and listening to oldies.
Kittypaw: What type of music do you like?
Adamo: I love pop and dance music. I listen to singers like Britney Spears, N*sync and Destiny’s Child. But I also love oldies. I spend a lot of time listening to artists like Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin, Petula Clark, Judy Garland and many more.
Alvin: What sports do you play?
Adamo: I love playing tennis and soccer, but I enjoy rollerblading, biking and swimming the most.
Ashanti626: Do you have a girlfriend?
Adamo: Well, I am single right now. But I’m looking around for someone cool to spend my time with.
CountriQT: How do you feel about your character?
Adamo: My character is not this huge complicated guy, but he has his problems, just like every other teenager does. In that aspect, I feel my character is nothing far from real. Thus I feel I can relate to him a lot. I like the way my character acts because he is a sensitive type of guy that is not afraid to show feelings and emotion. And in my opinion, that is true strength.
CountriQT: Do you wish your character could be different and why?
Adamo: No, I wouldn’t change a thing about my character. What makes my character unique are his multiple attributes, good and bad. Plus, my character has cool style in clothing, and he is sensitive and caring… and isn’t that what ladies like in guys? LOL!
hypergurl7: Do you get along with everyone else in the cast?
Adamo: Of course I do. We all spend a lot of time together, so we are all really good friends. Everyone is respectful, kind and talented. So it’s like a big hang out every time we work!
kaceypaige: Do you get angry on a set when you’re acting and you make a mistake, or when someone else makes a mistake?
Adamo: Well, when one of us makes a mistake it’s like a blooper. We laugh about it and move on. But if there is high stress on set and a mistake is made, sometimes we can get a bit frustrated. But that’s very seldom. And even when that does occur, we just accept the mistake and move on.
lildevil08: What do you like most about being on the show?
Adamo: Well I can’t really choose one thing about the show that stands out as the best. Every aspect of working on Degrassi is a blessing from God and is an enjoyable experience.
sofia9922: Has your life changed by making series?
Adamo: Well, by doing this series and being in front of a camera, my love for this profession has grown even stronger. And now more than ever I know that acting is a field I want to spend the rest of my life in, because it is truly what makes me happy.
hypergurl7: How did you get into acting?
Adamo: In grade three my elementary school did a musical. I loved to sing and dance, so I auditioned and got one of the lead roles as a young kid. After doing the show and hearing the applause of the audience, I realized that I had a passion for theater, and I wanted to pursue it. And I did. I have been acting, singing and dancing since I was 7 or 8. I have traveled to many places in the United States and in Canada for multiple competitions. I now go to an arts high school which allows me to learn more about theater everyday, making every day of the week an enjoyable and exciting one. Because there is nothing I would rather spend my time doing than performing.
